Last month, we celebrated my hubby's birthday by going skiing.  We took on the task of buying ski clothing, instead of renting.  We were fine with making a small investment, since we didn't see this trip as a one time adventure.  We went to the oulet mall as I stated in my February post, but it was diffuclt to find everything that we needed.  The outlet store had a small selection.  We also went to a well known outdoor store, but their selection was also small, and the prices were really high.  I hardly ever purchase items that don't have some kind of discount.  So in our last effort, we found a local ski shop in Reisterstown, MD called The Ski Shoppe LTD.  We had the BEST shopping experience at this local shop.  The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products.  They didn't try to sell us the most expensive items, majority of the items they suggested were actually on sale.  I did some research on the items, and the shop offered the same items at a better price than other regular and discount stores.  We purchased everything we needed and had the best time skiing!
