The ongoing mission of Fashion Awards MD is to highlight, celebrate and recognize the talents of those who have made contributions to the fashion industry in the state of Maryland and beyond. Created in the early Spring of 2011, its inaugural event debuted in June of 2012 to much excitement.

With dozens of categories ranging from photography to makeup, media to wardrobe, from hair stylists to models and beyond, FAMDembraces all corners of fashion- from our fresh emerging talent of the future to the trail blazers who have directly influenced fashion over the years.  FAMD also recognizes special industry members with the presentation of individual awards, including the “Industry Achievement Award” and the “Humanitarian Award.”
